Before you begin
We use plant oils, and skin can still react to them
We make cosmetics for external use, not medicines, so patch test anything new and treat the label on the pack as final.
What our products are, what they are not, and how to use them safely.
These are cosmetics
Every GraceYes product is a cosmetic for external use, made under a valid cosmetics manufacturing licence. Our products are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Where a product page describes what an ingredient is traditionally used for, or what published research has studied, that is exactly what it is: a description of tradition or research. Results vary from person to person.
Patch test first
Natural ingredients can still cause reactions. Before using any new product, apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If redness, itching or burning appears, do not use the product. Stop using any product that causes discomfort and rinse with water. Keep all products away from the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly.
Who should take extra care
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a diagnosed skin condition, are under treatment, or are using prescription topical medicines, please speak to your doctor before adding new products to your routine. Essential oils are concentrated and must be diluted as directed; they are not for use on infants, and our baby range is formulated separately and labelled as such.
Natural variation
Colour, scent and texture vary between batches because the plants do. Cold-pressed oils may cloud or solidify in cold weather, warm the bottle in your hands. Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and close caps tightly; use within the period printed on the pack.
Information on this website
We take care to keep product pages accurate and current, including ingredients, net quantity and price, but errors can happen. The label on the pack is the final authority on ingredients and directions. If you notice a discrepancy, please write to wecare@graceyes.in.
Journal articles
Articles in our Journal summarise published research with sources listed. They are written to help you read a label, and reflect our reading of the evidence at the time of writing.
