A shave without the sting

Most men who look for an alcohol-free aftershave have the same complaint: the sting, then tight, dry skin an hour later. Alcohol causes both. Our After Shave Balm and After Shave Oil use plant oils and butters instead, so they calm freshly shaved skin and leave it soft.

Start with warm water. Work Shaving Cream Bar into a lather with a brush or wet hands; it is made with cocoa and avocado butter, so the razor glides. Shave with the grain, rinse, then smooth on the balm or a few drops of the oil.

If you keep a beard, massage four to five drops of Beard Oil into the beard and the skin under it every day. It is ten plant and essential oils, including argan, jojoba and pumpkin seed, with no silicone or synthetic fragrance.

What is after shave balm and how does it work?

A soothing balm you press into freshly shaved skin. It cushions and moisturises instead of evaporating like a splash, so it suits skin that stings or turns red after shaving. Ours is alcohol-free.

How do I use after shave balm?

Rinse with cool water and pat dry. Warm a pea-sized amount of After Shave Balm between your fingers and press it into the shaved area until absorbed.

Is oil good after shaving?

Yes, for dry or tight skin. A few drops of an alcohol-free after-shave oil soothe without the sting of a splash. Wait for any nicks to settle first.

Can after shave balm be used as a moisturiser?

On the jaw and neck, yes. It moisturises the shaved area. For the rest of the face, use your usual moisturiser.

Does beard oil work on a patchy beard?

It softens the hair and the skin underneath, so a beard looks fuller and itches less. It does not make new hair grow.
