Most lipsticks get their colour from synthetic dyes and lakes. Ours get it from the kitchen garden. We colour Clay Silk with bentonite clay and beetroot, Beety Crush with real beetroot, and Cacao Muse with cocoa powder, each deepened with alkanet root, a plant that has tinted lips and oils in India for generations. Three shades, 4 g each, in a rose-gold case.

Every shade sits on the same caring base of coconut oil, shea butter, castor seed oil and vitamin E oil, so colour goes on without the dry, tight feel. Clay Silk is a soft terracotta nude for every day, Beety Crush is a deep berry wine for evenings and festive days, and Cacao Muse is a rich chocolate brown made without beeswax, on carnauba and candelilla wax.

Because the colour comes from plants and minerals, each batch can vary very slightly in tone. Wear one shade, layer two, or blot for a soft stain. Pick a single, or choose any two or three shades together and save.

Yes. Choose Pack of 2 or Pack of 3, then pick any shade for each lipstick, the same shade twice or different ones.

Is Cacao Muse vegan?

Will it dry out my lips?

Every shade has coconut oil, shea butter, castor seed oil and vitamin E oil in its base, so it feels comfortable. On very dry lips, apply a little lip balm first.

How should I store it?

Below 30°C and away from direct sunlight. Natural waxes soften in heat, so don't leave it in a hot car.

Clay Silk and Beety Crush contain beeswax; Cacao Muse contains sweet almond oil, so avoid it if you have a nut allergy. Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight, as natural waxes soften in heat.
