The cream spreads thin and sinks in, leaving no chalky grey film and no slippery silicone slip. Chamomile flower water and blue chamomile keep sun-warmed skin comfortable, while shea butter and aloe hold moisture in. No PEGs, no parfum.

Does this sunscreen have an SPF rating?

No. It is a plant-oil day cream with antioxidant botanicals, and it carries no tested SPF rating. For long hours in strong sun, please use an SPF-rated sunscreen along with shade and covering clothing.

Is mineral sunscreen better?

Mineral sunscreens use zinc oxide or titanium dioxide as filters, and many people with sensitive skin prefer them. Ours is neither: it is a plant-oil formula without oxybenzone or octinoxate, and it has no tested SPF, so pair it with an SPF-rated product for strong sun.

Should I apply sunscreen before or after moisturiser?

After. Sun care goes on last in your morning routine, once your serum and moisturiser have absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes before you step out.

How often do I need to reapply it?

Every two to three hours through the day, and straight after swimming or heavy sweating. Use it every morning, including on cloudy days and indoors near windows.

Is it good for oily or acne-prone skin?

It suits most skin types, including oilier skin, because it spreads thin, leaves no white cast and has no silicones or PEGs. Patch test first if your skin is prone to congestion.

Can sunscreen remove tan or dark spots?

No product removes a tan. Protecting your skin every day helps stop new tanning and keeps existing spots from deepening; since ours has no tested SPF, use an SPF-rated sunscreen for long hours in strong sun.
