1PLANT OILS & BUTTERS
Rice Bran Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Jojoba Oil, Kalonji Oil, Perilla Oil, Moringa Oil, Gurbandi Almond Oil
Cold-pressed seed, nut and fruit oils plus unrefined butters.
Damp skin, straight out of the bath, is the best moment to seal moisture in. This after shower body oil goes on while you are still damp, trapping moisture instead of trying to add it back later. Jojoba leads, a liquid plant wax so close to human sebum that skin accepts it quickly, which is why this suits people who dislike the slick feel of body oils.
Rice bran, apricot kernel, moringa, kalonji, perilla and gurbandi almond oils fill out the blend, and the essential oils of cedarwood, rosemary, clove, eucalyptus and harsingar read herbal and warm rather than sweet. Sixteen plant oils, no mineral oil, no silicone slip, no parfum standing in for a real botanical scent.
Body oil or body lotion? For dry skin, especially in winter, an oil applied to damp skin locks in more water than a lotion applied later, and it leaves no sticky layer under clothes. It can replace your lotion on most days; very dry shins and elbows may like a second pass at night.
Sixteen plant oils, applied to damp skin, to hold water in before it escapes.

Yes, straight after a shower is the best time, because damp skin holds water that the oil then seals in. Pat lightly so your skin is damp rather than dripping, apply the oil evenly and massage until absorbed.

No, it stays on. You apply it after the shower, not in it, and massage until it sinks in.

It should not when you use a small amount on still-damp skin. Jojoba, rice bran and apricot kernel oils absorb quickly, so massage until fully absorbed and give it a minute before you dress.
Yes, it is a blend of plant oils, so it works for a gentle massage too. We designed it for damp skin after bathing, and for longer massages our Body Massage Oil is made for that job.
It is made without mineral oil, petrolatum, parabens, silicones, phthalates, PEGs and synthetic fragrance. It does contain several essential oils, including clove, thyme and peppermint, so patch test on your inner arm before applying it all over.
