Daspushpadi Oil
Herb- and flower-infused oils prepared the traditional way.
The daily malish is one of the oldest habits in Indian homes, and this baby massage oil is made to honour it properly. At its base sits Daspushpadi, a classical infusion of ten flowers prepared the traditional way, used across generations for infant care. Slow, circular strokes with a herb-infused oil support circulation and give parent and baby a quiet, unhurried few minutes together.
The oil is thin enough for light strokes and does not leave a heavy coating before a bath. Kashmiri lavender is the only addition, chosen for its soft, calming aroma at bedtime. That is the whole ingredient list: no mineral oil, silicones, parabens, phthalates or synthetic fragrance anywhere in the bottle.
Which oil is best for baby massage in winter? A light, herb-infused oil that absorbs well is kinder to baby skin than heavy or pungent oils. Warm a little in your palms, massage for ten to fifteen minutes before the bath, and keep it away from the eyes and nose. Patch test first, and ask your paediatrician before starting with a newborn.
A classical ten-flower herbal oil for the daily massage grandmothers always insisted on.

Daspushpadi Oil, Kashmiri Lavender Essential Oil
A light, herb-infused oil that absorbs well is kinder to baby skin than heavy or pungent oils, and that is how we make ours: Daspushpadi, a classical ten-flower infusion, with Kashmiri lavender. Warm it between your palms first so it feels comfortable on cold days.

In summer, a thin oil that does not leave a heavy coating suits best. Ours is light enough for gentle strokes, and a pre-bath massage lets any excess rinse away; ask your paediatrician before starting with a newborn.
Many families do, though coconut oil thickens in cold weather and needs warming in your palms first. Whichever oil you choose, patch test a small area and keep it away from the eyes and nose.

Daily, ideally for ten to fifteen minutes before the bath or at bedtime. Warm a few drops between your palms and massage in slow, light, circular strokes.
It contains only Daspushpadi herb-infused oil and Kashmiri lavender essential oil, with no mineral oil, silicones, parabens or synthetic fragrance. Patch test a small area first, and check with your paediatrician before starting any oil routine with a newborn.
Daspushpadi is a classical preparation in which ten flowers are infused into a base oil, traditionally used in baby care. In our massage oil it is the entire base of the formula, not a token addition.
