1PLANT OILS & BUTTERS
Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Sesame Oil, Shea Butter
Cold-pressed seed, nut and fruit oils plus unrefined butters.
A baby's bath does not need much, and it certainly does not need foam. This bar is cold-processed from coconut, olive and sesame oils with shea butter, and the water it is made with is Ganga jal, a thing our own families would have insisted on. Goat milk goes in for the soft, creamy lather and for the lactic acid and vitamins that leave the skin feeling fed rather than squeaked clean.
Because it is cold-processed and then cured for weeks, the glycerin stays in the bar instead of being taken out and sold on. A little lavender is the only scent. No sulphates, no parabens, no parfum, no dyes, and nothing that needs a synthetic preservative to keep.
Is goat milk soap safe for babies and newborns? A mild, cold-processed goat milk bar is one of the gentlest options for baby skin. Use it no more than once a day, rinse well, pat dry and moisturise. Patch test before the first use, and check with your paediatrician for a newborn or for skin with eczema.
