Sensitive Skin Soap by GraceYes — Soap for Sensitive Skin, Perilla & Marigold, 100 gm

Description

Some skin simply cannot tolerate a standard bath bar: it stings, tightens or itches afterwards. This sensitive skin soap is our answer. Perilla seed oil, one of the richest plant sources of omega-3, leads the formula for its soothing character, and the water is infused with marigold petals, bitter gourd and bay leaf, three botanicals long used in Indian skin care.

The lather is soft and low-foaming, which is what you want on reactive skin, with a quiet herbal note from juniper essential oil. Cold-process curing means no synthetic preservative is required and the natural glycerin stays put. Shea butter and sesame oil replace the oils that cleansing takes away.

Which soap is best for sensitive, itchy skin? One with the fewest possible irritants: no sulphates, no synthetic fragrance, no dyes, and the natural glycerin left in, as here. Bathe in lukewarm water, pat dry and moisturise straight after. It is a cosmetic bar, so persistent itching or rashes deserve a dermatologist's look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which soap is suitable for sensitive skin?

One with the fewest possible irritants: no sulphates, no synthetic fragrance, no dyes, and the natural glycerin left in. That is how we make this bar, led by perilla seed oil with marigold, bitter gourd and bay leaf, for skin that stings, tightens or itches after ordinary soap.

Is natural soap good for sensitive skin?

Not automatically, because some plant ingredients, especially essential oils, can irritate reactive skin. Ours keeps essential oil to a little juniper, but patch test on the inner forearm before regular use, particularly on the face.

Can I use it every day, and how?

Yes, morning and evening. Work the bar into a soft lather, massage lightly, rinse in lukewarm rather than hot water, pat dry and moisturise while skin is still slightly damp.

What if my skin keeps itching?

This is a cosmetic cleansing bar, so persistent itching or a rash deserves a dermatologist's look.

CautionFor external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly if contact occurs. Patch test before use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
