Bamboo & Basil Soap by GraceYes — Bamboo Charcoal, Basil & Tea Tree Soap, 100 gm

Description

Some skin needs more than a rinse at the end of the day. City air, helmet straps and long hours leave grime sitting in pores, and this bamboo and basil soap is built for exactly that. Activated bamboo charcoal does the main work: its porous surface absorbs excess oil and pollution rather than merely washing over them.

Tea tree is one of the best-studied plant ingredients for blemish-prone skin, and basil adds its own clarifying note. Kalonji, grapeseed and jojoba oils keep the bar from tipping harsh. Cold-processed with the glycerin left in, and no sulphates, parabens, triclosan, parfum or dyes anywhere in it.

Can you use a charcoal soap every day? On oily, acne-prone skin, yes, once or twice a day. Dry or sensitive skin is better off using it on the T-zone, back and chest only. It is also a popular choice in summer for helmet and sweat build-up and for the dull, tanned look that pollution leaves behind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is charcoal soap good for acne-prone skin?

Ours suits oily, congested and blemish-prone skin: bamboo charcoal absorbs excess oil and grime, and tea tree and basil add a clarifying note. It is a cleanser, not an acne treatment, so see a dermatologist for painful or persistent breakouts.

How do I use charcoal soap on my face?

Wet the skin, massage the bar to a light lather, and let it sit for about thirty seconds on oily zones such as the nose, forehead and back before rinsing well. There is no need to scrub hard.

Can I use charcoal soap every day?

On oily, acne-prone skin, yes, once or twice a day. Dry or sensitive skin is better off using it only on the T-zone, back and chest.

Can charcoal soap irritate skin?

It can feel strong on some skin because it contains tea tree and basil essential oils. Patch test before regular facial use, and stop if you notice stinging or lasting dryness.

Is the black colour from artificial dye?

No. The black comes entirely from bamboo charcoal powder, and the bar has no sulphates, parabens, triclosan, synthetic fragrance or dyes.

CautionFor external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly if contact occurs. Patch test before use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
