1PLANT OILS & BUTTERS
Coconut Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Sunflower Oil, Moringa Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Rose Oil
Cold-pressed seed, nut and fruit oils plus unrefined butters.
That tight, squeaky feeling after a bath is not cleanliness, it is a stripped skin barrier. This aloe vera soap is made to avoid it. Fresh aloe juice goes in as a large part of the liquid, binding water to the skin surface, and it is joined by sugarcane juice for a mild natural glow on dull days.
The lather is creamy rather than foamy, thanks to shea butter, rice bran and moringa oils, and rose oil leaves a soft floral trace on the skin. Everything is cold-processed and cured for weeks, so the natural glycerin stays where it belongs. No sulphates, parabens, triclosan, parfum or coal-tar dyes.
Is handmade soap better than regular soap? Most shop soaps are detergent bars with the glycerin removed, which is why they dry the skin. A cold-processed bar like this keeps its glycerin and its oils, so it suits dry and sensitive skin on both face and body. Let it drain between uses and it will last longer.
A creamy aloe and moringa bar that leaves skin clean but never squeaky-tight.

Yes, ours suits most skin types, particularly normal, dry and sensitive skin that finds regular bars drying. Fresh aloe juice makes up a large part of the liquid, and shea butter, rice bran and moringa oils keep the lather creamy rather than stripping.
We make it mainly as a body bar for morning and evening use, and many people use it on the face too. It contains rose oil, so if your facial skin is reactive, try it on a small area first.
Yes, it is made to avoid that tight, squeaky feeling after a bath, because the cold process keeps the bar's natural glycerin in. For very dry winter skin, follow with a body oil or lotion on damp skin.
Cold process means the oils are saponified at low temperature and the bar is cured over several weeks, so the natural glycerin stays in. That is why our bar cleans without drying, with no sulphates, parabens, triclosan or synthetic fragrance.
